(Or maybe there's a /s missing?)

It's bleedingly obvious satire, you shouldn't need a /s for everything

I dream of a world where people that cannot discern obvious irony and satire on the internet would be banned from it in perpetuity.

We'd all end up banned, we just wouldn't understand why as we didn't notice it that time.

So no different from the current internet then.

Have you considered moving to the UK? I hear they're working on something similar

If there’s a country that would make improperly tagged sarcasm illegal, it’s the UK.

On can only dream. But reading comprehension is at an all time low and likely only to get worse..

But seriously, it has been since the beginning. The whole thing is promotion for Y Combinator

We're not mad at you. But we'd really like to learn: what went through your head when you read that comment? Was there not even an inkling that this might be satire? Can you tell glaringly obvious satire apart in oral conversation?

I have so many questions!

there's literally a comment sibling to the one you're responding to saying he wants to PAY FOR ADS. It's really hard to tell satire apart from I WANT TO PAY FOR ADS around these parts.
