I don't have to defend the quality of my equipment (hardware or wetware) to you or anyone else. The science says they are to similar in contrast for differentiation. If only there were other colours that could have been used instead.

Objectively different hues is bunk: #fffeff is 120 degrees from #fffffe - I defy anyone to tell them apart. It's just not as simple as hue as the only factor.
