I donn't find AI writing hard to understand at all, just a bit tedious. Though to be fair I suspect many of the same criticisms leveled against AI writing could be applied to my own, as many AI'isms are things that I tend to edit out for clarity when given the opportunity.

Em dashes are perfectly acceptable — nay, desirable — linguistic constructs, however, and I'll stand with Claude and die on this hill.
