They clearly have at least a decent bit in the tank bc whenever either lab releases a new update, the other one matches benchmarks in like 24h
Don't be snarky. This is very well known, including by public disclosures by the labs themselves, along with countless reliable testimonies by people who would know. It's actually a huge governance problem we're yet to solve.
Maybe everybody has more capable models they're not releasing. Unless they're out they may as well not exist.
