When should I use this over Codex? Is this supposed to be called by other tools/agents?

OpenAI CLI = wrapper around API

to be fair `gh` works so much better for me than crafting curl requests (even with LLMs)
Curl with token usage so it’s better.
that was my assumption, maybe you use Claude but want it to use OpenAI image generation or something. this got a physical shrug out of me.
