Not everyone is going to publish their creations, not everyone is on HN, and not everyone on HN is going to shout from the rooftops about how they are in that larger group of newly-enabled people.
Every new technology is going to also enable bad people, just like the Internet enabled scammers, it enabled a lot more people to be more productive.
But are we actually seeing those results or are people just burning 10x more money?
What I'm not seeing is news promoting how we're suddenly doing 10x better in any aspect of our daily lives, nor 6x or 4x or even 2x better. You'd think if we were suddenly getting 10x more productive, even if it was never published in the news, we'd see something, anything that affected our lives in a positive manner.
We're not.
Or at least, I'm not. And a lot of other people seem to be in the same boat.
