Oxide is so cool, I just wish the hiring process was a little less crazy. I spent such an incredible amount of time on my application just to not hear anything for months until I got the rejection.

I think that hiring process is what makes that entire team great and hum in such harmony. At the very least, going through that rigorous writing process helps you prepare for other applications or prepare materials for future applications with other companies. Hiring is hard. I have heard Bryan Cantrill say something that has also been true in my experience, along the lines of: Some of my biggest career mistakes were related to hiring.
