I agree with Bernard Suits on this one. He asks us to consider a future utopia where technology has solved all of our problems. Whatever is left, whatever we fill our days with at that point, is the meaning of life.
For him, and for me, the obvious answer is games. He defines playing a game as, roughly, “to play a game is to take on unnecessary obstacles voluntarily to make possible the activity of struggling to overcome them”.
