I work on a product called Sailboxes [0], which are durable cloud VMs designed to be effectively free when idle. It's elastically powerful enough to host a Minecraft server (my preferred use case), but still scales down to near-zero resource consumption when nothing heavy is running. More recently, it's become the default cloud environment for all my coding agents, because I can control and fork its state whenever I want.
