I went a bit over the top and hired a fully remote dev environment in hetzner. I connect to it using rayfish.xyz and I dont have to carry a big-ass laptop like I used to. I just have Mac Air. The whole setup is Mac Studio at home for heavy stuff, Mac Air to travel and hetzner machine 300 usd a month for heavy devving.
