One of my favorite articles on Wikipedia is called "Timeline of the far future".[0]

The only problem with this article is the presentation: it's a gigantic wall-of-text table that does very little justice to the profound, awe-inspiring insights contained in it. This article deserves so much better!

So here's my attempt to dress it up a bit. Being a visual learner myself, and wanting an opportunity to improve my skills with three.js and typescript, I made a "reimagined" version of this article (with the help of some agentic assistance), giving it the visual treatment it needs so badly.

It seems cool and I like these engaging animations.

I was a bit slow to understand what was going on at the beginning but I liked reading through each entry especially as time went further and further. Some of the animations also loaded slower so maybe an indication of loading process or time could be useful. Overall a very nice site and project I must say. Well done!

I really hope they don't have Windows in 28,802 years from now...

I found the first part engaging, but some of the animations were on a timer instead of the scroller and went too fast, I couldn't read them.

It honestly doesn’t feel like it’s going to take 3000 years to become a type 2 civilization.

we aren't even a type 1 civilization yet, and type 2 is 10 orders of magnitude greater in terms of power usage.
