> Fully vibe-coded with Claude Code

Lame, my interest drops to 0 whenever I find out a project is vibe-coded

Because why would I be impressed if I can just go prompt it myself?

If its vibe-coded its just another display of claude code's abilities, which its like...duh at this point

That means the only thing interesting is the idea itself, which in this case...

"why would I be impressed if I can just go prompt it myself?" I mean, I see what you mean, but this also reads like, "I found out my favourite author dictates their novels rather than types them out and formats them, which is lame; I can just make up stories and speak myself". It's the idea (and to whatever extent, the design intervention during the iterative process) from the human that's most useful and impressive, at least to me.

The only reason to be impressed is that this person had the inspiration to think up the use case that got you excited until you realized it was vibe-coded.

I'm not a fan of vibe-coding but I see where it can solve those little issues around the edges of our lives that a fully self built "project" doesn't justify.
