Chris from "Abroad in Japan" has also done a couple of Japan biking trips. He also has quite a few travel logs from less obvious places in Japan. (Including some very obvious ones, like Mt Fuji.)
They are edited to be a bit more "dramatic" but once you get into the actual day to day stuff they are quite chill.
