For me the smoking hall going away was a turning point in the culture at CCC for the worse. Sitting there and smoking weed with random people are some of my favorite memories. It feels less like disneyland for hackers each year

Once there is a Hollywood movie made about the event you know it’s completely gone mainstream.
Smoking areas are more a requirement of the location than anything else
