Almost the entire tech crew who were working for Honeywell in Canberra seemed to be from a team that worked in Port Moresby in the late seventies to maybe the early eighties. Their stories were mostly a mix of late stage colonialism and machete terror.

My Dad worked for Honeywell in the 70s, in Australia.
tbh, I just google'd them and they're still in the Nasdaq-100, 100k employees .. damn. I'm not sure of when I last heard of them.
I still think of them as old school punch cards and reels of tapes.
