I really wonder how much of Amanda Askell is in Claude. I feel that the genius-brain-level-philosopher language Claude uses is a major sign of it. I also worry that if Amanda is not well, this has an outsize second order effect on the rest of us that has not been named or recognized yet. I would extend this analysis to all other AI labs and their primary researchers.
