People write off the Chevy Bolt (as does GM) but it solves all of these issues and is what has kept me from "upgrading." Normal buttons, normal car, normal handles, simple, fast, zero maintenance, and because they aren't fancy incredibly cheap used-car prices with near new batteries.

Low cost and low maintenance is why they hate cars like this. They're not as profitable.

The ideal is a big overpriced car that depreciates rapidly and requires a lot of maintenance.

Agree, not to mention the new ones all come with monthly subscriptions instead of CarPlay.
