Honestly, it sounds like you’re going to end up asking a ton of very specific functionality questions that Da Vinci Resolve and co do in their own ways.
Does OpenShot? For your specific use cases? I dunno, but it’s free, so give it half an hour or an hour and see? You’ll get more info than from many of us that probably don’t use this kind of software often.
And then you can report back your findings! :D
