Why does it have to be an iPad mini? It's not even oled and there are hundreds of other small tablets available for less money.
...and they're promoting it by referencing said movies.
Adding two existing features together (gps mapping on an inverted sphere) doesn't seem to be the basis of a patent to the rules of incremental innovation.
