Complexity should be relative to the material covered.

Verbosity without substance is tiresome. But so is hand-waving and vagueness over complex topics (the hallmark of conspiracy theorists and absolutist fundamentalists).

Spot on. Verbosity for the sake of it sucks, but vague docs on complex systems are even worse. Balance is everything—depth where it actually matters.
