Frank and earnest question about using a company when you think they aren't a net benefit to society, especially when there are other options. I too have my reasons for thinking Goog, Amzn, and others are not good. I just don't use them. The other options seem great to me - I never long for what I'm missing. Momentum, habit, peer pressure, or something else going on?

i found that almost everything around me is evil, and after a period of hesitation i resolved to make the most of it.
That's a totally legit answer! I've heard that from quite a few friends. My personality (or something) nags me too much to do so, but I get it.
