I honestly don't, forgive my ignorance but English is not my first language and I'm from different culture I suppose.

I was trying to explain a point that "sadness" as a by product arraignment not the domain. And I personally found the article heavy on generalization. When I read statements like "All knowledge work is pointless" and "Everyone in tech is sad".. I just think it's lousy thinking.

But I don't know what word you referring too that was not common since 1998 specifically and why..I find you comment to be really strange, sorry.
