GNOME 2 was lovely.
Then GNOME 3 came and I switched to Mac.
My experience with GNOME 3 was exactly the same as with GNOME 2: GNOME 3.0 was a little rough, but a couple of versions in, it felt great.
Interesting because i kept reading that people dislike GNOME 3 because it's like Mac.
