So the name change comes as they knew the deal was closing and doubled down on this new branding for customer agents. Maybe because Saleforce wants Salesforce Fin Customer Agent as a product. This was my guess on the impetus for the name change as well.
Yeah - they want Salesforce Fin, not Salesforce Intercom.
