Shortform content has become the default way everyone today consumes information, but the platforms optimize for engagement rather than epistemic quality. What I mean to ask is when you or other people watch shortform content mainly informational ones would you care about source transparency, why a claim is rated a certain way, creator background, links to supporting evidence, confidence or uncertainty indicators, possibly even long-term accuracy tracking? I would love to know your views on this thank you!

I doubt it because short form vids hold attention for a very little time. The assumption also is all people value the same credibility signals. But check out theory of the leisure class. It tells us different people value status signals very differently.
