You're not wrong in your suspicions.
It appears there is some induced psychosis on HN around Claude. Something like a reality distortion field. (Wonder where that was used before).
This leads me to believe that this over-reliance on Claude and similar chatbots, will have those using it experiencing skill atrophy over time. It seems to have a visible effect on some people at Anthropic.
The broken links are one thing, then the (alleged) source map leak which was the second time that happened. But the biggest read flag of all is the degraded uptime [0] which is one of the worst I have seen since GitHub.
