Hi HN,

We recently built a QuickBooks integration for admin.flexprice.io, our usage-based billing system.

The goal was to build a reliable bridge between modern billing models (usage, metered charges, commitments) and traditional accounting workflows.

Key design choices:

- One-way invoice sync (billing → accounting)

- Automatic customer and service-item creation

- Entity mapping to prevent duplicates

- Inbound payment sync via QuickBooks webhooks

- Clear separation of responsibilities between systems

Sharing in case this is useful to others dealing with similar billing → accounting gaps here!

Happy to answer questions if any, we have the docs here: http://docs.flexprice.io/integrations/quickbooks

If you would like to jump in-depth, we also have a open-source community and would love to see you there: http://bit.ly/4huvkDm

Excited to see this live, makes the finance & billing handoff so much cleaner for our customers
