I tend to work best with very simple productivity tools, and most task managers either don't let you work with teams, or are ridiculously expensive for just a list with extra metadata, especially if you work on many projects with different people. So I built a minimal one using HTMX + Bun + Hono.
It’s called Zadan (https://zadan.app), named after the Slavic word zadaniye (“assignment”). The goal is to keep it free and focused on getting tasks done, with only a few practical extras like file or image attachments for context which I am working on now.
I’ve only spent a few days on it, but it already feels solid and was even helpful for planning my wedding! Feedback welcome.
