Arguably, there is no sane a11y on GNU/Linux anywhere.
iOS/Mac/Android is on completely other level.
It's not a single thing. Trying to get a screen reader on GNU/Linux is awful. Getting dwell click is easy on X11 and... some Wayland implementations. Or if you like: It was bad on X, and is worse on Wayland.
