I'm really interested in seeing how much these types of smart glasses are going to help visually impaired people. I don't see that mentioned in this article, I'm hopeful these things are another step for better accessibility.

While technologically amazing, I am not a big fan of random people having a much easier time to record me in public or in private gatherings.

Public - you've already lost. Private - fully agree.

This form factor is much more approachable than full VR headset. That said statements like:
