[flagged]

Dune has been around since 1965. This has been flagged incorrectly. You can’t seriously expect “spoilers” to not happen for a work that is 60 years old.

Hopefully no one spoils the ending of Titanic for me. I've been waiting to watch that.

He was already dead

If you're that concerned about spoilers, maybe just don't click on anything related to the media you're so concerned about being spoiled for you?

It's a "you" problem with a "you" solution. No one owes you or anyone else this consideration. There's always someone who hasn't seen something. Taking "no spoilers!" to its extreme would prevent ever discussing the content of media at all.

The books and previous movies/shows have been out for 60 years, 40 years, and 20 years. I don't think it's fair to complain about spoilers. Should we also refrain from mentioning that Darth Vader's surname is Skywalker?

I'm not taking it too seriously but damn i was caught off guard by the first sentence heavy spoiler.

The first sentence in question: Science fiction understood something fundamental before science caught up.
