"It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends upon his not understanding it."

I fully believe that climate denialists can ignore anything. It could be 55 degrees C outside and they'll say that it's an El Nino year and we are coming out of an ice age, and sure, it's hot, but how do you know that humans caused it?

That better reflects the scientists paid by a government to carry out an agenda like scary "climate change".

No one "denies climate". That's stupid.

There was a time before we knew about climate change. Were those government and university researchers paid to cook up "climate change" from nothing? Who is twirling their mustache hoping to damage the fossil fuel industry, and how do they control what researchers look at?

I'm not a climate denialist but I can ignore it because it's behind a paywall.

A chart with temperatures on it doesn't prove it's caused by humans.

No one "denies climate". Stop being ridiculous. What people deny, because there's no evidence, is human-caused catastrophic global warming.

Funny that it used to be called global cooling. Then it became global warming. And now, surprise surprise, it's just "Climate Change".

> Surely, no one will deny the climate?!

What's the difference? Even if it's not anthroprogenic it is happening and it will destroy large parts of the ecosystem. The cause is irrelevant. Unchecked climate change will inflict trillions in economic damages and billions of lives.

If you don't agree with the fact that this is happening and that we must do something about it, you're a climate denier. Whether we caused it or not (and we absolutely, definitely did) the effect is the same and the solutions are the same.

Jackass.

I've seen, with my own two eyes, the terminal moraines and the photos on a sign where a glacier was 100 years ago, then hiked a couple kilometers up a valley to where it is today, on multiple continents.

I've seen, in my lifetime, dramatic shifts in the climates of places I've lived.

If that's not climate change, what is?
