My favorite quote of her has been.

Understanding what chimpanzees are like has made me realize that we humans are not so different from other animals as we used to think. What makes us most different is that we are far more clever than even the cleverest chimp, and we have words. We have a spoken language. We can tell stories about what happened a week or a year or a decade ago. We can plan for the future, and we can discuss things - one person's idea can grow and change as other people contribute their ideas. Great ideas become greater, problems are solved.

My Life with the Chimpanzees (1996), p. 140

In 2025 that is problematic and we must all agree that our differences are purely due to socioeconomic factors.

holy racist dogwhistle, batman.

chimpanzees are animals, and the only people who think differently are the straw men in the imaginations of people I prefer not to spend time talking to.

But what determines that? If not socioeconomic factors then genetics? Is it possible genetic differences between the races might have some observable outcome as well?

"But what if black people really _are_ subhuman?" No thanks. Not biting. I disagree, but arguing that topic just makes me sad and angry, and I've never changed a racist's mind.

Wait, what? I'm actually laughing that you can't even acknowledge genetic differences between races without your mind immediately going to blacks being "subhuman". Freudian?

I'm an openly-racist White Nationalist "Nazi" and even I don't think that.
