Just as a piece of writing, this is more intense than anything Tom Clancy ever did. It is crazy that all of this is actually happening.

Considering their track record with the Ghost of Kiev and similar stories, I would say 90% chance, it’s actually a Tom Clancy ripoff.

Unless they become autonomous I don’t think drones will be as huge as people think. They’re dynamic mines, basically. That’s undoubtedly a crazy effective concept. But most countries aren’t as bloodlusted as Russia to order their troops and material to charge into a minefield. Unless electronic warfare hits a new inflection point I feel this is just going to make war more heavily indexed on long range strikes

If they use encrypted chat, that means they also somehow communicate between teams residing in different buildings, and I doubt they use wires for that. Does that mean it's radio? And if it is, what stops drones from homing in on their radios?
