I asked first. You didn't answer so I don't feel the need to answer either.
Also, your disingenuity (implying without stating that 5% is small) already convinced me that you're not in good faith, so this wouldn't be productive anyway.

Well, if we’re being pedantic, you stated that the war is the Palestinian holocaust, I asked if other conflicts with much higher casualty count would be also considered.
But if we want to continue this thread it appears that most wars in urban areas have a ratio of 30-90% civilian casualties https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civilian_casualty_ratio
The problem is that this is not a war. Israel does not fight with a an enemy, it is a slaughter to a group of people where they also control their water, food and electricity.
Can you also say jews in germany were at war during WW2?
So whose holding the Israeli hostages?
and who is keeping palestinian hostages? invading lands? killing land/home owners?
Sounds like you wanted me to say "5% is a big number" and then you would say "it's not compared to these other things". Sorry to burst your talking point.
Yeah, it's more complicated than that, I'm glad you agree.
There is no formal definition of "Holocaust". In contrast, the "Genocide" category is an international legal figure and what Israel is doing in Gaza clearly falls under it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genocide_Convention
