I assume it's related to the following:

There's probably some fairly strict timing requirements etc on that. Still it'd be nice if they figured out a way to have swappable RAM.
thanks! Yea, it's easier to ship it with the RAM I guess, but I wonder does the slot make things so much harder? Or maybe they want to enforce some certain producer/sub-protocol
