My point was that this effort could be formalized and need not be individual or group based. Each country could have their own allowed list which can change after responsible additions or deletions. People could vote on which channels should be allowed. etc.
Yes, that makes sense. I just think it's a bad policy. Why would I want something I like to be banned if x% of people in my country don't? My preference is always to defer to individual preferences unless consumption somehow tramples on the life of property of another.
