I built MileAway, an iOS app that tracks the countries you’ve visited and lets you share your travel map with friends.

The core idea is simple: • It auto-detects which countries you visit (based on location permissions) • You get a clean profile with flags, dates, and a travel history timeline • You can follow friends, compare maps, and compete on a country leaderboard • Optional import from photo library or manual input

It’s designed to be lightweight and visual. I built it solo for fun, mostly to solve my own need for a clean way to track where I’ve been and see my friends’ travels without the noise of social media.
