I doubt it will increase cost for traditional CPU-based clouds. Just take a look at Ampere 192 core and AMD 196 core CPUs. Their efficiency will continue to drive down traditional cloud $/perf.

Yeah I think you’re right about that. But what about GPU’s? Will they benefit from economies of scale or the opposite?
